From a regional perspective to the neighborhood block level, priorities are discerned as the first step to engaging in specific larger planning or design initiatives. Also, orientation and ethics training can be scheduled for board members and staff of planning and landmarks commissions.

LEROY “SATCHEL” PAIGE HOME REDEVELOPMENT
It has been a great honor to work on the rehabilitation process of the former Paige family home in the heart of Kansas City’s Santa Fe Historic District. The home will hopefully bring alive the story of Leroy “Satchel” Paige and his impact on America in the 20th century. Although arguably the greatest right handed pitcher of all time, Satchel was so much more than just that. He was an entrepreneur, collector, and family man, who was famed for his generosity and hospitality. When restored, his home of over 30 years will help tell these stories and serve as an inspiring asset for the entire community.
